Fees and Insurance
Insurance
Louisville Psychotherapy Group is currently an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. This does not mean you will bear the full cost of your appointments. However, out of network benefits often vary from in network coverage.
We strongly recommend you contact your insurer to verify your out of network benefits. A few questions to ask when you call:
We understand that navigating your health insurance benefits can be challenging and we are happy to work with you to understand the process.
Current LPG Fee Schedule
Fees vary across our licensed and trainee clinicians. We have some flexibility in the below rates and hold a limited number of sliding scale spaces for patients who cannot pay our full fee. If you think you may be a good fit for our clinic, please call and discuss with us. We welcome conversations about fees both before and during our work together. Session frequency is typically weekly although an individualized treatment plan will be developed with you and we may recommend more or less frequent meetings as appropriate. Your initial 2-3 sessions will consist of an assessment and evaluation. Following these initial sessions we will discuss an individualized treatment plan and agree on a course of treatment together.
Dr. Russ and Dr. Kleinman
Initial Visit: $250
Individual 45min Psychotherapy Session: $175
Couples 45min Psychotherapy Session: $200
Trainee Fee Schedule
Our trainees are able to see patients for very low fees. Fees are discussed with trainees when arranging your initial visit but are typically $30-$40 per visit.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (502) 208-8794
